Chimper #612
Every morning, Mokuseika attempts to deliver the first bowl of ramen to their business partner, Kyohou, with perfect, professional grace. And every morning, they trip over the same loose paving stone. The result is always the same: a crown of noodles and broth. The first time it happened, during the grand opening of their stall in The Great Panda City, Kyohou was mortified. But then a tourist, thinking it was avant-garde marketing, bought three bowls. Kyohou, who handles the finances, has since forbidden anyone from fixing the stone. Mokuseika remains blissfully unaware, convinced each new day will be the one they finally get it right. They carry their carved cane for stability, yet it mostly serves to snag on things. Their stall is now famous, though few can comment on the taste of the ramen itself.
