Koyone

The only trainee in Armaria's history to challenge a legend over dinner, Koyone insists it was a misunderstanding. They saw another apprentice sketching the sunset as it fractured through the spinning monoliths and wanted to offer them a gift: a magnificent salmon from the stream. Unfortunately, the haunted wanderer Yukimura was there, seeking a quiet meal. Fueled by misplaced ambition, Koyone raised their combat pole and declared a duel for the fish. The 'battle' consisted of Koyone mostly fending off their own tangled fishing line while Yukimura stared, utterly unimpressed. The fish escaped, but the apprentice was charmed by the display. Koyone may have lost dinner, but they gained a partner who still asks them to recount their glorious fight.
