Chimper #984
Hihona keeps two journals. One is for sketches of sakura blossoms and mountain passes near The Dojo. The other is filled with brutally efficient combat notations. They were content to fill both in solitude until they were assigned a partner for an expedition: a loud, graceless brawler who saw every problem as a target for their hammer-like fists. Hihona thought the partnership was a joke. The brawler thought Hihonaโs petal-dancing style was uselessly ornate. Then, on a frozen path, they were cornered. The brawlerโs fury was met with equal force, but Hihonaโs quiet, swirling dance found gaps no one else could see, their demon eyes glowing with cold fire. These days, one provides the noise, the other the silence. One journal is for the journey; the other is for how they'll survive it.
