Chimper #1400
The junior mages in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria whisper that Tsuzumi’s staff is made of crystallized rage. They saw it happen during a training bout when a rival’s spell sent a cascade of magical rocks toward them. Tsuzumi, dressed in their customary tiger disguise, didn’t flinch. They simply raised their staff, and a shockwave of pure force atomized the stones mid-air. Before their power awakened, the suit was a joke. But when their magic erupted—a feral, untamed storm—the tiger persona became the only thing that felt true. Most wizards saw an unstable element to be exiled. Kyoju, however, saw an unwritten spell. The pragmatic master took them on, teaching them not to suppress the fury, but to channel it. Their eyes still burn, but the deadpan expression is the control Kyoju taught them.
