Chimper #1439
The sweet, waxy scent of a half-eaten chocolate stick always hung around Rinai, a strange contrast to the sharp, ozone hum of The Crystal Highlands of Armaria. Growing up, their childhood friend Soganoumako was the one who threw punches, while Rinai mostly studied the physics of the spinning monoliths overhead. They were meant to be the brains of the operation. That changed when a pair of rogue gem collectors cornered Soganoumako. Rinai, armed with only their wits and a snack, panicked. They tripped, sending a loose crystal skittering across the ground that took out both aggressors at the knees. It was a fluke. But it kept happening. Soganoumako now calls it 'strategic clumsiness.' Rinai just wishes opponents would stop challenging them mid-bite.
