Inuki

Inuki keeps the worst hours in all of Waterfall City. Ask the fishers down by the rushing water; they’ll tell you Inuki is there before the morning mist clears from the great stone steps, haggling over cargo that hasn’t even been unloaded. Their rival, Shousuke, builds their trade with patience. Inuki tries to conquer the markets in a single season, fueled by a ferocious thirst for… something. A frog trader once saw them slumped by the plaza's fish statue after a deal collapsed, eyes hollowed out as if they’d fought a battle and lost. But by sunrise, they were back at the docks, voice booming, making a bigger, riskier bet than the one before. It’s not just about the coin; it’s about the chase.
