Chimper #1863
When the Cult of Kaze brought their black-and-white flame to The Heart of the Forest, Chikyuumaruhanako met them with a roar that shook the amber leaves from their branches. To save the singing, dancing locals they loved, they unleashed a power they had never fully controlled. The energy that erupted from them was a transcendent force, a maelstrom of raw strength that achieved what few thought possibleโa feat Washi might have admired for its sheer scale, but not its cost. The cultists were annihilated, their souls extinguished. But so too was the clearing. The fire, Chikyuumaruhanakoโs own, consumed the homes and silenced the songs. They saved the forest but lost everything in it. These days, their eyes are still vibrant, but they reflect only embers of a home that is no more.
