Chimper #1908
Kunitoshi was once the calmest soul on the river that flows through The Great Panda City. They believed any trouble could be untangled with the same patience used to unknot a fishing line. When the barbarian Yaban-hito descended on the city's outer settlements in a torrent of uncontrollable rage, Kunitoshi did not flee. They stood before their small home, rod in hand, ready to offer peace. They received only violence. They survived, but the home and the people they shared it with did not. The war paint they wear now is not a challenge to others, but a punishment for themselfโa stark reminder that some forces cannot be met with tranquility. They wander the realms, still carrying the fishing rod, but the thrill of a catch is long gone. It is now just a weight in their hand, a ghost of a life that was torn away.
