Chimper #2149
Yoshinobu cast their line into the river that flowed through The Great Panda City, the chill air doing little to bother them. They were once celebrated here, their hands crafting meals of legendary status for the Panda Council. But they served one meal too many, overheard one conversation not meant for their ears while refilling a cup. The next morning, they awoke with the mark: not a hat, but a permanent part of them, flesh and rice fused as one. They were cast out, their jumper growing ragged with the seasons, finding purpose only among Takeo’s forgotten followers. These days, their intense gaze never leaves the water. The other outcasts think they're fishing for food. But what does someone who heard a state secret really wait for at the water's edge?
