Chimper #2066
In The Great Panda City, the bamboo is more than scenery; it’s the city’s bones, conducting every whisper on the freezing winds. Itsuna walks the avenues, a picture of vigilance in their tactical goggles and beret. They are known as a crafter and a poet, composing verses inspired by the minstrel Shijin that the Panda Council praises for boosting morale. Every day, they inspect the groves, their hands testing the stalks, their expression uneasy. Locals see a diligent artisan securing the city’s defenses against threats from below. They are mistaken; Itsuna isn't listening for enemies at the gates, but for the faint, rhythmic message tapping its way out from inside the hollow bamboo.
