Chimper #2065
On the day the river soured and the frogs refused to trade, a gloom settled over the lower docks of Waterfall City. The fishers grumbled, their nets hanging limp and empty. But while others fretted, Aizaburou simply flicked open their panda fan with a soft *thwump*. From beneath their azure cap, they produced a handful of sweet choc sticks, offering the first to the most sullen frog elder. The elder blinked, took the treat, and let out a surprised, happy croak. Soon, a small crowd gathered by the grand fish statue, not for answers about the river's mood, but for the simple comfort. Aizaburou's act didn't fill the nets, but it filled the air with laughter. Guarding a city wasn't always about walls; sometimes it was just about reminding everyone that a bitter day could still have a sweet taste.
