Nadare

"Kyasarin will tell you that yellow bandana is the reason they're still alive." It was during the Year of Biting Winds, when the cold sweeping down into The Great Panda City was sharp enough to cut stone. Kyasarin was lost in the blizzard just beyond the bamboo-lined streets. Nadare went out when the Panda Council guards would not, tying the bright cloth to their own pack as a beacon. They found Kyasarin just as the last light faded and guided them back, the yellow a defiant spark against the storm. Nadare saved a life, but the frost of that day settled deep in their soul. The bandana remains, a vibrant, optimistic thing—a promise kept, and a constant, quiet reminder of the warmth it cost to keep it.
