Chimper #2372
Yakara did not scream upon waking in The Heart of the Forest with no memory of their past. They did not even flinch at the sight of Kiti, another chimper staring back with the same confused look. Instead, Yakara calmly inspected a nearby berry bush, plucked a single piece of fruit, and frowned. โThe texture is all wrong,โ they announced with the quiet authority of a master artisan. Kiti just tilted their head. Finding themself in a food apron, Yakara concluded their purpose must be culinary. While Kiti tried to piece together their history, Yakara dedicated themself to a more pressing matter: teaching the locals that a balanced meal is more important than remembering one's own name.
