Youkou

Treasure hunters in The Dragon Wastelands will tell you that Youkou's dapper flat cap appears on the horizon just before a storm breaks or a ghost dragon materializes. They say Youkou doesn't trade in goods anymore, but in luck itself, a skill they gained after some strange surge of power nearly tore them apart among the skeletal remains. The Rock Wizards, however, speak of it differently. They saw the chaotic energy and recall Kyoju stepping in to help the merchant master the basics of their new form. They worry Youkou now sees the echoes of value in everything—a lost tooth, a forgotten promise, a shard of dragon bone—and that their deals have become far more binding than any contract written on paper. Youkou just adjusts their cap and smiles, their vibrant eyes seeing a market no one else can.
