Daizaburou

Daizaburou is the only merchant in The Teikodian Empire who can sell you an arrow before you realize you need one. The palace guards whisper that it’s some kind of magic, a sudden ascension. The other stall owners just call it good business. They all agree on one thing, though: it started the day the Emperor's collectors came for Mototarou. Before that, Daizaburou was just a peddler with a friendly grin and retro attire. But when the guards dragged Mototarou toward the dungeons, an arrow hummed from nowhere, pinning a sleeve to a golden pillar without drawing blood. Since then, the arrows in their majestic quiver have carried that same faint, vibrant light. Mototarou runs the stall now, while Daizaburou simply watches the crowds, ever grinning.
