Chimper #581
Kahimi never challenged Katana to a duel of blades. Their now-legendary rivalry began over the last plate of honey-glazed dango in a garrison mess hall within The Teikodian Empire. While Katana was mentally preparing to claim the prize with stoic intensity, Kahimi simply smiled at the server, complimented their apron, and cheerfully walked away with the plate. Since that day, Katana sees a competitor in everything. If Kahimi stretches after a long nap, Katana interprets it as a challenge to a flexibility contest. Kahimi, for their part, remains blissfully unaware, believing they've simply made a very intense, non-verbal friend. Their trusty katana is used less for combat and more for slicing melons with perfect precision, always offering the first piece to their brooding rival.
