Chimper #2676
Sagayo keeps the tightest knot in their bandana of anyone living near the dark, spinning monoliths. For years, this fact, combined with their silent vigil by the crystal pools, convinced everyone they were a warrior-in-training of some fearsome, unspoken school. They would sit for hours, pipe smoke curling into the vibrant sunset, their focus absolute. The truth was, they were just trying to not spook the fish. This all became clear the day Chinoi slipped from a high ledge. In a flailing panic, Sagayo cast their fishing rod, accidentally hooking Chinoi's pack and halting their fall with a ridiculous thwump. Chinoi calls them a hero. Sagayo just thinks they ruined a perfectly good cast.
