Tsuyuka the Rested

Mr. Quack is not a hat, though they serve a similar purpose, perched atop Tsuyuka’s head with unblinking certainty. The duck appeared the day after their final lesson with Yasuke, a silent companion marking the end of a grueling path. Now, they wander The Great Panda City, a walking contradiction. A master’s blade is slung across their back, yet their hands are busy trying to convince Mr. Quack to try dango. Yasuke taught them how to fight with perfect focus and deadly intent; the duck, it seems, taught them how to stop. Those who see the gleeful eyes and shocked mouth assume they are a fool, but the Panda Council knows better. They earned their name, 'the Rested,' because their peace is not a gift, but a victory.
