Chimper #2976
When their final lesson with Kuki was complete, Chikona chose a meadow glittering with unclaimed gems on The Fluorescent Isles for their solitary post. Winged chimps whispered tales of the silent guardian, whose face was a dramatic mask of kabuki paint and whose combat pole never left their side. With a theatrical flourish of their panda fan, they would conjure powerful gusts of windโa trick learned from the sky spirit themselfโto send treasure hunters tumbling away. For cycles, everyone assumed Chikona was protecting some priceless artifact or immense fortune. No one ever got close enough to see the small, fenced-off patch of dirt they so fiercely defend, which contains a single, impossibly stubborn catnip sprout.
