Kangorou

The ocular implant in Kangorou’s left socket never stops cataloging. It was a gift—or perhaps a clinical field repair—from M-100. Before the upgrade, Kangorou was just another shambling echo in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, drawn to the hum of the monoliths without purpose. Then the bionic entity found them, a perfect specimen to test the integration of advanced technology with necrotic tissue. The procedure restored a flicker of awareness but left Kangorou perpetually startled by the simple fact of existence. Since then, the two have become inseparable. M-100 calmly analyzes arcane energy signatures while Kangorou stumbles into ancient traps, accidentally disarming them. M-100 explains quantum theory; Kangorou responds with a guttural growl that M-100 seems to understand perfectly.
