Shunka

When the day of their final duel with Danjirou arrived, the forest was unfortunately celebrating the Great Acorn Bake-Off. Shunka cornered their rival beneath a canopy of amber leaves, drew their katana, and prepared to strike. At that moment, a villager carrying a massive pie mistook Shunka’s glowing pink eyes for festive decorations and their drawn blade as the perfect tool for slicing. Before they could protest, Shunka was praised as the guest of honor, and Danjirou was handed an apron. Their grim silence was interpreted as the intense focus of a master patissier. Overwhelmed by hospitality and buried in gifted pastries, the two enemies had no choice but to open a market stall to offload it all. Their deadliest duels are now fought over who has to restock the jam.
