Chimper #4193
The ancient sabre on Sourou’s back is polished to a mirror shine, a habit from a life long since extinguished. It once reflected a vibrant face, one that smiled under the cherry blossoms of The Great Panda City. Sourou was a celebrated protector then, their movements a dance taught by masters who have since turned to dust. That life ended during an ambush on the high mountain passes while defending a Panda Council envoy. A poisoned blade found its mark. But Sourou's duty did not end. They clawed their way back from nothingness, their flesh decayed but their will unbroken. They still serve the city, a grim shadow wielding techniques no living warrior remembers. The sabre still reflects the blossoms, but it only catches a hollowed gaze and the memory of a world they can no longer touch.
