Anohiko

Anohiko is the only merchant who sells exclusively to Chimps about to lose a fight. They set up their small stall where the wind from the lake bites hardest, just beyond the sparring grounds where trainees battle for bandanas. While others watch the graceful forms and powerful strikes, Anohiko watches for the slight swagger in a challenger's step, the overconfidence in their eyes. Their inventory, sourced through a special arrangement with the Panda Council, consists of things winners never need: expertly brewed self-pity tea and hand-carved “You’ll Get ‘Em Next Time” tokens. The red panda mask hides the knowing side-smile that is their true trademark. Master Chimpo once asked why they never catered to victors. Anohiko just shrugged. “More repeat customers this way.”
