Chimper #4941
The cool, sharp edge of an Armarian crystal felt familiar under Mutsuka's fingers—a grounding sensation in a life of shadows and whispers. Every scar on their face was a map of a mission gone wrong, and their furious eyes warned others to keep their distance. They were a weapon, nothing more. Then they met a gem-cutter who didn’t flinch at their past. The gem-cutter spoke of inclusions and flaws making a stone unique, all while tracing the deepest scar on Mutsuka’s cheek. As a joke, their new friend gave them a silly fish lure, saying it was for ‘catching better memories.’ Mutsuka, who never kept anything that wasn't a tool, wears it always. They still haunt the alleys of The Crystal Highlands of Armaria, but the mission is different. It is to ensure the gem-cutter can watch the sunset in peace.
