Chimper #841
How does one learn the currents of the world when they spend their days gazing at the stars? For Akuko, the answer was found not in the pale stone temple of Waterfall City, but on the slippery docks far below. They came from a noble line, meant to study scrolls, yet their mind was always elsewhere, lost in celestial maps. On their back, they carried the Mega Sabre, an heirloom that hummed with a power they couldn't yet comprehend. It was a grizzled frog fisher who first called them out, laughing at their pristine pink yukata. But the frog saw the alertness in Akuko’s eyes, the keen mind beneath the fox beanie. An unlikely pact was formed. Akuko now spends their days learning to mend nets and read the river's moods, a true student of the city's flow. In return, they teach the old fisher the names of the constellations.
