Narashirou

Every morning, before polishing their katana, Narashirou carefully waters the lucky plant on their head. The winged villagers of The Fluorescent Isles see the dragon gear and intense eyes and whisper that a powerful mystic has come to live among them. The smaller dragons, however, see a chimp who apologizes to their hat after a sudden gust of wind and find it all very amusing. Only Sora, who travels with them, knows the real story. They once watched Narashirou spend an entire afternoon trying to teach the sprout a traditional battle song, getting the lyrics wrong every time. Sora suspects the plant is the real adventurer and Narashirou is just its very uneasy, well-armed chauffeur.
