Chimper #5506
Yunoka was perfectly content with the silence. Their only companion was Mr. Quack, whose opinions were offered through decisive quacks and the occasional stolen piece of fruit from their apple stick. They arrived in The Great Panda City expecting nothing more than a brief respite from the freezing winds, another stop on a journey with no destination. But then Mr. Quack waddled over to a chimp tending the bamboo shoots by the river and dropped an apple at their feet. The other chimp simply bowed their head in thanks and offered a cherry blossom in return. No words were needed. They spent weeks like that, sharing quiet moments as the purple sky reflected on the water. For the first time, Yunoka’s wandering feet felt heavy.
