Chimper #1805
Hijiriko tossed a silver carp to a particularly grumpy frog, the fish bait on their head bobbing with the motion. The frog caught it with a flick of its tongue, its grumbling softening into a satisfied croak. A deal was struck at the bottom of Waterfall Cityโs plazaโno coins, just respect and the promise of a rare river pearl next week. They learned that kind of patience long ago, in a dusty workshop where they were tempered alongside Daiyamondo. While their friend dreamed of grand adventures and sacred artifacts, Hijiriko learned to see the value in small, perfect things. When Daiyamondo returned as a legend, Hijiriko felt nothing but pride. Their own treasure wasn't a world-stopping jewel, but a network of friendships glittering brighter than any diamond dust.
