Chimper #2440
Yohana practiced their most terrifying scowl in a puddle's reflection as the octopus on their head tried to snatch a passing beetle. This whole fearsome warrior act was their companion's idea. Ever since a run-in with Yaban-hito in the wilder parts of The Heart of the Forest—an encounter where Yohana froze solid and the octopus squirted ink directly in the barbarian’s eyes—a legend was accidentally born. The locals, mistaking sheer panic for battle-readiness, dubbed them “the Eager.” The name stuck, a constant, horrifying reminder of an expectation they could never meet. Each morning, the octopus taps a new direction on their scalp, pointing toward some imagined glory. Yohana just sighs and reapplies the scary paint.
